Great teachers, found by word of mouth.
Finding a great teacher today means asking around, digging through group chats, and hoping the recommendations pan out. Kithy simplifies this process. We connect students with independent teachers and coaches of every kind — swim, music, tutoring, art, sports and more — vouched for by your neighbors. Be part of testing before our public launch.

A few quick answers
What does it cost?
Kithy is free for students — now and always. Educators join free during the pilot; after that, a small monthly fee comes later, and we'll announce it ahead of time so nobody is surprised.
How do I pay the teacher?
Pay your teacher directly, using the payment method you agree on together. Kithy never takes a cut of your lesson payments.
Is it an app? When can I use it?
Yes — Kithy is an app we're building. Testing starts in December 2026, with launch planned for Spring 2027. Public launch is only in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to start, and we'll expand from there. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it's ready to try.
How do I know a teacher is trustworthy?
Start with reviews from people you actually know — the app shows which friends and neighbors have used and reviewed a teacher. Then message the teacher inside the app before you share your number, so you can ask questions and get comfortable first.
What safety measures will there be?
Every adult on the app will have: Sex offender background check; Phone and carrier verification; Identity confirmation. Full criminal background checks and ongoing monitoring will be available to educators as part of a premium plan.
What happens with my contacts?
Joining this waitlist does not give Kithy access to your phone contacts. You can invite friends yourself using the share link after signup. Details about any contact access in the app will be shared before launch, so you can decide before granting permission.
